Well, so far, so good. Engine has over 1000 miles now and made a trip to chicago and back for CED. Got third place in AutoX out of our group and ran 13.9 at 113 at Great Lakes dragway.

Confirmed by an engineer running a twincharged engine in the dyno. If I understood correctly: He said with the TC after the SC, the SC will become a restriction. With the TC before the SC, the SC will just increase the mass air flow rate. Also suggested the turbo turbine be large enough otherwise that will become the restriction. He wasn't the twincharge expert but knows a few things. He is studying efficiency with this setup, not peak power stuff.

on drag radials? I always wanted to do a twincharge setup but im scared of tuning it. I feel its not easy to do, i could be wrong though. Sounds like the car is running great and reliable. Great build!

No that was on my z2 star specs and a ***** launch, didnt want to break anything. Tuning it really isnt hard if youve tuned a cobalt before. If the maf housing is staying the same then really you dont need to change much in the tune.

Thats understandable. I wouldnt want to break anything launching hard either. I have only tuned a friends LNF, my 2.4 g5, and my supercharged 2.2. But i have done many cam setups on LS engines. Thats where i started learning on. I had just heard before about the difficulty of tuning twincharged cobalts and really never found much info on them.

Im maf only right now with the maf before the turbo, zero issues tuning it. Its just like tuning any other forced induction setup.

i was about to ask where you had placed your MAF. Do you have a recirculating BOV? Or another reason why putting the MAF before the turbo? I would think it go after turbo to avoid a rich condition after BOV releases pressure.
