2.2 wire harness to 2.4

Hey guys just seeing if someone could help me out I have someone that wants to buy my 2.4 motor and put it in there 2.2 to turn it into a track car does anyone know if the wire harnesses are the same ? They are the exact same year why will he need the PCM and ECU? Any help on this would be great thanks guys

Its a good amount of work to get it all running that way unless you swap the whole harness

what year are we talking about. Some of the same year 2.2, and 2.4's did not have vvt,one cam sensor, Etc.
you would need to reflash the ecu. Steve

Ya his motor is not a vvt but he shouldn't need a reflash if he is using my ecu and pcm right?

Using your harness and ecu is the best way. But will require you to disable the antitheft system i believe

As long as you disable antitheft it should work, assuming you repin all the differences in the connecter that connects the two harnesses
