2.4 with 3inch dp

I was lookign to buy a a new dp and Headers and i remember seeing somewhere that its not a smart to buy a 3 inch dp for our cars because their is no boost or something of that sort. just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this and if so anything would help. thanks

Id go with 2.5 myself

yeah its too big for your car, you would lose a lot of torque. stick with a high flow 2.5 inch downpipe...its a good size for your power level

I'm running a 3" DP. I installed it a short time ago in prep for a future Supercharger. It will kill some of your bottom end. Take off is a lot weaker than it was before the DP.

When you start to put down more then 300 hp then you go to 3inch.

3" on n/a motor is lil overkill..my 2.5 is great low end and top end is nice as well

i have a 2.5". i blew out the gasket at the collector/dp meetup. Not sure if that was a zzp part or a oem part. might've been a user install error (leak) or something else.
