If that's an LT then that's not the 2.4 sport. LT's have 2.2 motor

And that's not a coupe. It's a sedan

Didn't mean to say coupe it doesn't appear to be an lt.. It has the fog lights and the sport wheels. This person doesn't know what they have, the sport model only ran one year with out the ss badge. It's a rare car. I don't know why they say its a/t...?

Gm called the sport for 2008 the "Sport Coupe". So instead of sport sedan they took the highest trim "lt" and became lt sport.

I'm aware of what the cobalt sport is. But there is a completely different cobalt called the sport LT. This is a 2008 sport 2.4 but who ever posted this put the wrong name for this car. It's just sport. Not LT.

In the description on eBay it says its a/t (automatic transmission) which is weird cause I thought all 2008 sports were manual..

Because I didn't buy the car and I can't drive a standard. Better for the drag strip too. It's always consistent.

When you bought a second one why didn't you buy an ss

The sport coupe is an ss like the years before, but with a badge that meets what the car is a "sport" but let's be serious the LE5 was never really good enough for the ss badge. the sport coupe is also the most rare because of the one year run.. I got the car for only 10k with 47,000 miles one owner no accidents. Local I didn't even have to drive six hours or anything.. The ss also comes with higher insurance rates based on the badge.. This car is spot less.. The supercharged didn't appeal to me either because its such small liter lol

You didn't get a supercharged cobalt because its a smaller motor? That smaller motor has more power than our bigger motor. Did you know that the ss beats v8s right? It's not the most rare. The most rare is the yellow ss turbo sedan. There was only 15 made. There are thousands of sport cobalts.

Nah their pretty rare the turbo ss might have a lower production rate but not many ordered sports. The 2.4 weight only thirteen pounds more that 2.2while having thirty more hp if they ran 2.0 n/a in the ls and lt they would be garbage. There is no replacement for displacement the le5 with all the same extra garbage turbo or s/c is just a bunch of weight the 2.4 is capable of more!! Your not even comparing the engines under the same circumstances. There's no replacement for displacement!!

They aren't as rare as you think. I see the sport all the time. And people don't just buy the 2.0 because of the sc or tc. It also has better body kit, rims, and suspension.

Body kit is same except for the gaudy stupid spoiler. The wheels are better on the turbo the 05-07 and sport coupe08 have the signature ss wheels
