stay away from R1concepts, there is a whole thread in the suspension forum about their rotors cracking. Go with a name brand slotted rotor on rockauto.

They crack to, I cracked power slots.

None of them are made for track use. Street them. If you track then use OEM Brembo rotors.

R1 premium drilled and slotted with Hawk HPS pads. I've had this set for the last 160,000 miles. They were a significant improvement over the factory parts on my G5 GT.

Yes. I'm still running them. Lots of highway miles. I installed them around 6 years ago. I bought a new set last year because my car was shaking when braking (I thought I had a warped rotor) but it was the control arm bushings that were shot. I still have the new brakes in the garage if I ever need to replace them.

I remember them growling when I first installed them, but I either got used to it or they got quieter. Heavy braking still causes them to growl, but they've never made any squealing noises.

I got the"Callahan"brand..BrakeOverstock...drilled and slotted with the Z16 ceramic brake pads... They're holding up and still look pretty nice... Had em about a year...the fronts are Brakeoverstock...China type...the rear are Stop Tech...but they work and look good...videos in YouTube...

If you never push on your brakes yeh I guess. Farthest I have ever seen brake pads and rotors go is 120,000 miles and they were OEM and the rotor was exposing in the inner vanes and there was nothing on the pad. HawkHPS pads should be aggressive enough where they CANT last that long, both on the pad side and rotor side, they aren't designed for that long of a life because of how aggressive they are. Who know's. lol

That's likely what I'm going to go with. Do they squeal as bad as the stock ones?
