Clutch Help

I've supercharged my 2.4 with a 3.1 pulley on a KY Stage 2 clutch. It slipped.

My current build is the same car and everything but turbo swapped on an S256ET @ 28psi on a KY Stage 3. That slipped too.

Has anyone tried the ZZP 9.5" Clutch kit for the 2.2/2.4? What other clutch will hold because I'm sick of these clutches slipping. I refuse to buy another KY Clutch. Thanks!

Either 1 drive better, or 2, do clutch masters. it's on zzp's website. Clutch Masters Stage Clutches - Transmission & Drivetrain

No I've been talking to a few people and the mods I had on each clutch, I've surpassed the capacity for both which is why they end up slipping. I'm probably going to go KY Stage 4 with a lightweight flywheel now and hope it holds. F23 has a smaller surface area than the F35 which is why they don't hold like the F35 clutches do. That's why I was so interested in the ZZP 2.4L 9.5" Clutch kit but it seems like no one has used it..

The Stage 3 is rated at almost 500ft/lbs of torque. Lot of guys are holding more than that on them as well.

Look at Clutchmasters or Southbend.

I'd be careful with the lightweight flywheel. I feel like I've read somewhere on here that KY was designed to work best with a stock flywheel, but I'm not 100% sure.

Most all clutches are designed to work best with OEM flywheels.

Lightweight flywheels can cause false Kr on LNF cars though.

I'll probably just run a KY Stage 4 and a lightweight flywheel. I'm going to use an LNF TOB though I think
