G5--chek this out

so i saw a G5 for the first time today...i have to admit they are pretty nice...the things i like most about them are the steering wheel, the headunit to the radio, and the tailights--then again i like our tailights also...o and i also really favored the carbon fiber int. trim the goes around the radio/across the dash(does anyone know if that trim can be put in our cars..are the ss emblem on our trim glued on or on permanently..?) i would consider doing that trim cuz i think it would look better with our cars

.....so cmon guys put some input into this..whatever you think

I noticed that the interior was different. I have the 2,4 SS and my brother just got a bare bones base 2006 model, and i noticed that the interior trim was almost like a gunmetal color. I like it more than the silver.

The rims played a part in buying the G5 GT over the cobalt ss

Just saw a silver G5 GT at the dealership today. It had the carbon fiber looking dash trim, upgraded radio, and both sets of controls on the steering wheel. It didnt have leather though. I was under the impression that all SS/GTs came with leather standard. Anyway I didnt have my camera on me today, but I'll snap some pics tommorow on my way home from work.

Ok its tommorow:

This one had the remote start feature. The people looking at the GTO next to it kinda did a double take when I started it from 10 feet away.

Just wish it could have been a fully loaded version. If they get one any time soon I'll go out and take pics again. Maybe better ones. :P

Yeah I thought the same. They are now on the lefthand side steering wheel controls. Pretty handy actually.

Is that real CF? Because I work at a Cadillac Hummer and Saab dealership and theres a special edition H2 that comes with Carbon Fiber everywhere inside the car and its not that cheesy sticker stuff its actual cf. It surprises me that they would put someything so expensive in an "entry" level car. Go GM!

Dammit. I saw a red mexican G4 GT today (G5/Pursuit), but I didnt have my camera with me!

It had the silver dash trim like the cobalt SS, and the ebony/ebony interior. Also had some interesting wheels. Anyway it had mexican plates so I'm not so sure I'll ever see it again.
