I get that error message once in a while from the computer with my automatic car starter. Pull the postive off the battery and and wait 10 minutes. It will reset.

This is the thread from hell... Sorry, Mike, you deserve better.

How about locking this thread and starting another when you get your car back running great.

So your problem is the security light and the car not turning over? When mine did this I had to do the security relearn procedure.

Hey Mike, if you call the dealer they should be able to tell you over the phone what to do. Just tell them the battery has been disconnected for a while and now the security light is on. They usually will tell you over the phone what to do.

So have you put the house up for sale yet, Mike? By the time things get finished, I hope you aren't sleeping in your car

Wow, I am really suprised they wouldn't release the relearn information to the shop. They usually do that without a problem. I can understand if you tried to call the dealer to find out and they say that they can't tell you. They don't know who you are where as a shop is another story.
