Needing new spark plugs

What would benefit me the most if I decide to switch over to premium fuel only.? Already need new spark plugs.

Premium fuel will help clean your engine i believe. With a tune on 93 and a few bolt ons you could gain 20-30hp

Umm bad advice here. 2.4 is designed to run on premium and will pull timing with regular until its no longer knocking. Sure it runs on regular, but you are down on power.

Correct.

Stick with the stock plugs. They are good.

The 2.4 was considered a H.O. engine, and had the same instructions as a stock SS/SC in terms of fuel.

Premium doesn't clean your engine. It's all about that knock yo. As said before, if the ECU pulls timing then you're down on power.

This is news to me as well. I've always ran mine on 87octane. Guess I'll start throwing 93 in her.

In a way I believe it does. Part of the reason it costs more is because of the detergents and lubricants they add to it.

Not really, it all depends on the fuel carrier. Octane rating does not depict detergent ratings, whether or not the fuel carrier is apart of the Top Tier Program does though. The attachment is a bulletin from gm that has a list of Top Tier Stations as of July.
Document ID_ 4225054.pdf

*edit: Kinda hard to see the list, this link will take you straight to the toptier website which has
the list also. Top Tier Gasoline
