Option b without stock hx?

Finally went and supercharged my le5 still getting kinks out but shes running great so far. I'll need more cooling mods im looking into option b, i'm not sure if I can run it without the stock heat exchanger or without drilling a hole in my zzp hx. I don't really want to drill a hole and have metal shavings in my cooling system and I don't want to get the stock hx unless I absolutely have to. Is there any way I can run the bleed line for option b from a T in the hoses or something or should I just get the stock hx in addition to the option b tank?

I installed option B without stock h/e and just followed ZZP's instructions which are to drill and tap the top passenger side of the intake manifold on the coolant passage. Not really what you are looking for as you would have to remove your manifold and possible even the cores so you can clean out the metal shavings but it is an option.
