Every time I see pics of a clean ass black SS on this site I go, dammit, why didn't I get a black car.
Then I look outside and see the daily struggle my neighbour has to keep her black G5 GT clean. Then I'm like... I'm good.

My only beef with the stock wheels is that the stars are shiny as **** and the edge are meh. It's like they though a 50/50 mix of chrome (well polished aluminum) and aluminum would look good--it doesn't.

really? I dont like the SS N/A rear bumper, it looks too much like the LT/LS bumper...
anyways, someone thought my bumper could use some styling changes and decided to smash it real good one day while I was in class...
So I bought a Zen fiberglass rear bumper off a guy for 200bucks and I'm going to have that put on there, I have the SS Lip at the front as well, so it should all flow pretty good I think.

I didn't put it on the inside because you still run the risk of the vinyl not adhering to the dot matrix. and it makes the rear window a little less huge. All I really need to do is Eyelids, Brake install and rear sway bar install. After that its powertrain time after the warrantly expires =)

The only mods I have not done to my car is the Powder coat rims and the suspension (I had that installed so if it goes bad because of a bad install, I can fry the guy who put it on since he guaranteed the labor for life.
Next week my R1 Concept Eline Slotted+Drilled Rotors and PosiQuiet Ceramics are getting installed along with my Powell Street Bar. While its getting that stuff done, I'm tinting the side markers and tails. I've pretty much given up on a skyline tail mod because I would essentially have to buy the assembly from VW and then butcher it to get it to work properly unless I found a really kick ass junkyard with newer cars.
White is a pretty easy color to match for vinyl though, It might be better to put Black Vinyl on the inside of your window because of the color of your car. Vinyl is cheaper too, about $7 a square foot.

yeah, i was gonna go with black it matches pretty well, ive done my tails and even painted the headlight housing black as well.. yeah i have some bubbling from the tint guys, i should just go back there and get it fixed since i have lifetimewarranty. yeah that skyline mod seems like a ton of extra visual work. im gonna do the evo mod with plastidip and the wheels as well, im tired of the shiny on black look
and@Kripple, i love the G5 GT wheels, the spokes are way thinner than cobalt wheels, if i had those i wouldnt even cover them in black

Please don't Plasti-Dip your wheels. The first time you get a balance / rotation (If they actually do it right by taking the tire off the wheel) they will peel all of it off with the machine.
Just save up for a powder coat job (It cost me $50 / Wheel) and it looks awesome if you're going for the black wheeled look.
