Sodium filled LNF exhaust valves in LE5 head?

My goal is to upgrade the exhaust valves on my LE5 build because force induction, I think the best value would be to use the sodium filled LNF exhaust valves, but not 100% confident they will work.

1) Supertech GEVN-0010 shows it fits all ecotec applications: https://www.supertechperformance.com...-exhaust-valve

The dimensions provided by Supertech show:
  • Head Diam: 30.1mm(Std)
  • Stem Diam: 5.96mm
  • Length: 101.5mm
2) The 2018 Ferrea catalog only lists 2000-2008 2.2 application, but the dimensions matches the supertech dimensions above.

3) Someone on ZZP asked a product question if they will fit the LE5, ZZP moderator answer the question NO: https://zzperformance.com/ecotec/cam...ec-valves.html

Any insights here?

I have also been looking for similar info for all valves. Been looking for the stellite faced, sodium filled exh. valves.

After catching some possible viruses I was able to get this off the old ecotec build book for our reference which shows all valves are the same dimensions across L61, LE5, LSJ, LNF

Bonus comparison differences between L61 LE5 LSJ LNF (crawl me googles)

On a LE5 you DO NOT want to upgrade to LNF valves. As you can see in my pic an LNF has less of a dish therefore it'll raise the compression. I added LNF valves to my LE5 because I am planning on keeping it NA. If you want to upgrade the valve and go turbo there are better options.

Are you sure it is that "black and white"? My current understanding is the compression increase is not that high, something like 0.1 points. In addition anecdotally, I am running LNF exhaust valves in an LE5 head and diamond pistons without any mechanical problems.

t's not much. like .1-.2

I'm running them in my new build, but I want the higher compression as well

If you plan on running E full time and or going full build you're good but on pump stock bottom end I'd spend my money elsewhere
