intake, full exhaust, high compression pistons, head work, area47 tune, nitrous if you want it

Heres what I did.

Header, intake, catback, hi flow cat, custom tune, relized it was still too slow traded it in for an M3. Now I have the HP that I want.

Seriously I gave up with mine cause it was an automatic and nothing I did seemed to make a difference. I hope you have better luck then I did.

Assuming you have a 2.4L and it's 07 or older it'll be a little tough. Definitely full exhaust and CAI. Throw on a bottle of NOS and I think you'll be there? Oh yea, run premium gas!

I'm told with full bolt-ons and a tune some can get 180-190WHP. I have so far a GMPP CAI, and the GMPP exhaust and there is a big from stock. Now I need a CF RKsport ram air hood, a manifold and DP.... and of course the tune. After that I'm done until I get teh turbo-balt or the Camaro.

don't get the hood, yea its "ram air" but that will give you maybe 1hp. so for the $600 you'ld spend on that get something else.

To build for 200+ naturally aspirated then slapping on a power adder that isn't nitrous would be interesting.

You'll be changing out cams and pistons more than once.

okay, so $600 for 10hp. doesn't seem worth it. but that $600 to a nitrous setup with a remote opener, bottle warmer, window switch and purge and put in a 75 jet... $600 for 10hp or 75hp, what would you pick???

well i was talking to the OP, but i'ld definitely take a complete nitrous setup for 75hp rather and a cf hood for 10hp
