Personally I like it, looks more upscale than the current sedan, and before people say ZOMG!!! It looks like a Daewoo!!, the tail lamps and headlamps mimic the 2009 Chevy Traverse, which isn't foreign.

its not as sporty looking as the current balt, but cars always "grow up" as they cycle. once it gets some nice wheels, and a lip kit and paint it will look pretty sweet.
as for the foreign plates, i believe in germany a german plate is required. just a hunch
