And when I say "Cobalt-ish" I just mean 2.0L, Turbo and HP/TQ ratings. I don't know how similar it is to the LNF engine other than those mentioned earlier.
I'm putting my money on 2015. GM is re-tooling their Lordstown, OH plant. Word on the street is that whatever car being built there will have a completely new platform, maybe even crossover applications. But with Ford already having the ST, Dodge coming out with the Dart SRT4 next year, Chevy has to come out with something. Isn't it just like them to be LAST and to copy off what everyone else is doing?

I hate it especially downtown when I go to school and traffic is a pain.
Isn't that what Impalas and Malibus are for? I mean they do have SS options for those as well....... Bring back sport compact with manual trans for those who don't want another impala/malibu with a different name.
Agreed. Not saying that the vehicle has to be strictly manual but what is so hard about keeping manual as an option? Manual transmissions are cheaper and less complex anyway.
