1.4 turbo right now but trying to let them know that a SS 2.0 Turbo wouldnt be a bad thing ;)

I think it would be a good competition for the over hyped BRZ :P

if this thing actually had some power, I could forgive the looks.. The BRZ/FT-86 on the other hand has no power but looks great!(except for the ass end) some of these companies need to stop tryin to put all their eggs in one basket

madcitySS Jan 18, 2012 05:31 PM

see i think the BRX looks ugly and has no power. I love this thing, just hope they give it a goot engine for an SS model :P

alerosaint Jan 18, 2012 05:34 PM

I could see a 2.0 turbo putting 280/280 then stage 1 put it up to 300/320

Pyros777 Jan 18, 2012 05:34 PM

It just occurred to me this looks like some wierd amalgamation of a Camaro and a BMW 1-series

bspeed Jan 18, 2012 05:36 PM

looks like a mini camaro that was neutered ...

LS6Rally Jan 18, 2012 06:14 PM

rear reminds me of a Z4 BMW. but i kinda like it. is it going to be RWD?, looks like it would be.

and that trunk is scary looking. looks liek the taillights would come up with the trunk itself.

madcitySS Jan 19, 2012 08:17 AM

it sounds like its around a BMW 1series size, and Rear Wheel Drive.

bamaboy22 Jan 19, 2012 11:12 AM

I would rock one

Pyros777 Jan 19, 2012 11:26 AM

Same platform as the Cadillac ATS, which is RWD.

Kahless Jan 21, 2012 09:46 AM

Looks like the old BMW z3 coupe. Ugly boot looking mf. How cheap can an alpha platform go? With the ATS camaro and this they might be able to drop prices for all three a bit because of economies of scale. Now if they would just put the 140s body on this rwd platform it would be perfect

Those things ^^^^^

madcitySS Jan 22, 2012 05:31 PM

i plan to own one. just waiting to see what engine options come.

turbo86 Jan 23, 2012 11:14 AM

Remember people, this is a concept car. We want the RWD Alpha platform, not another FWD. The looks of this car will prob be toned down in any production model anyway.

madcitySS Jan 23, 2012 11:31 AM

it better have those tail lights! I love those!

turbo86 Feb 10, 2012 11:32 PM

thread bump

seems the 130R is winning, from the various polls and videos I have seen.... : )

Vetteman99 Feb 11, 2012 09:18 AM

Yeah motor trend was something like 54.something to 45.IDK% in favor of the 130R

RBC Feb 15, 2012 10:14 PM

I would 100% buy one if it keeps the price range I've heard and got a big boost in power. A 2.0+ 4cyl turbo rwd would be make this car awesome! This is the type of car that I've wanting the to make for years, but everyone on hear sleaze said keep dreaming GM will never do something like that.

ford Feb 16, 2012 11:28 AM

The more i see the 130r, the more i like it. Honestly, if it came out tomorrow (ok well next wednesday after i close on my new house) I would have it in my garage, with the contingency that it comes with a powerplant similiar to the LNF and was under 3100 lbs.

Shanedude Feb 16, 2012 04:08 PM

I agree with ford and all his conditions. Plus it needs to maintain all the little neat features the cobalt SS/TC boasts such as NLS/RPD/TrunkBattery. Stage kits and more stage kits that maintain warranty aswell.

TommyP Feb 16, 2012 04:10 PM

Grab the motor from the regal GS, keep this car under 3000 lbs and rwd, and you just might get me back into a Chevy again.
