This was probably posted before but has anyone noticed this? Brembo's and cross drilled rotors on the cruze - probably a hint at the future SS model - nice to see they are thinking about this.

one of the things bout the prototypes and the first models that are made for the testin is they usually go all out on them with stuff like that and it usually never makes it to production. im not sayin they wont be makin an ss or that they wont use brembos on it but lots of stuff like that never makes it to production. the srt-10 ram is a perfect example cuz they was suppose to have 24" wheels but that never made it to production, it was for safety reasons thou.

x2 at first I hated it, now not so much. Okay random question time... I've always wondered why do they put like the white and black stuff on cars they're testing? Is it to hide the lines in the body and sort of disguise the car, or is there some other purpose?

Ugh. Hopefully that's just a pre-production thing.
Yep. Car camo. So that when they take it out for testing, it makes it harder to get a revealing spy shot. The black and white goofy shapes hide the body lines more.

i like the dash layout. not bad at all. the lock/unlock isnt in a bad place at all.
and those pedals are kinda cool. overall if they get an SS model then ill have to consider it.

i can't stand having lock/unlock or power windows on the center console, my parents PT cruise had that and i HATED it, always reaching for the buttons instead of being right there beside you.

I guess i can kinda see that point. but if its a 5/6 spd. then itll be right near your hand any way. and its what, only adistant 6 inches from the ignition? close enough.

It's OK when you're used to it I guess. I have a PT Cruiser as somewhat of a second car and it IS a pain. The other thing I hate? The radio buttons are at this goofy ass height where it's really awkward to press the preset or seek/scan buttons. It's weird, but just something I noticed.

Putting the window switches in the middle makes it the same for both left and right hand drive cars. Since the Cruze is going to be sold in virtually every Market Chevrolet is in worldwide, this makes sense. The 2010 Camaro has this, too, with an eye toward selling in other countries.
