Interesting

I for one would love to see a cruze ss, but has anyone noticed that the Cruze LTZ has a bolt pattern of 5x105? We all thought 5x110 was bad.

Nooby question:

What's the second number mean in bolt patterns? I'm guessing the first number is the number of bolts/Lug Nuts.

All Cruze's use 5x105. It's a horrid pattern BUT we're not plagued by the same model using different patterns *cought* cobalt

Strange theory here...do you think GM is trying to somehow FORCE people that are looking for a second set of wheels to have to go to GM to get overpriced factory wheels from their selection? Just a thought. I mean some of them do look cool....but they're retarded expensive.

Yeah look at the ss/tc wheels. They are over 400 a piece from GM.

its the spacing of the bolts.... if ur off on the bolt patter by just a bit, then the rim wont fit at all lol...

and GM arent the only ones w/ expensive stock rims... my last car was an 04 fucus... the new ones that jus came out w/ the 17 inch multi spoke rims blew my mind for what the factory price was... i couldnt believe for 4 rims 4x108 17 inch cast aluminum(or w/e) they wanted 2G's(thats w/o tires! lol).... but after market from any catalog would be like 100$ a pop per wheel. American companies diggin deep in our pockets man... hahaha

Oh of course...EVERY factory wheel is expensive from pretty much EVERY automaker. But at least with the Focus, there's hundreds of quality aftermarket wheels that you can go out and get for cheap...with the 5x110 pattern...there's not many, but enough to satisfy most. With 5x105 on the Cruze...there's like 2 companies that make wheels for that pattern...neither are very good.

i think the SS/TC wheels are pretty good. 18X7.5 with like 22lbs ish in weight, its not a bad factory wheels at all compare to the SS/SC with 7 inches width and 24+ pounds in weight.

there's a lot more surface face to the ss/sc wheels, the ss/tc wheels are more "spoke" style design, so less material
