Exclamation Shutting Down Lordstown twice in March

Apparently from what I've been reading GM plans to shutdown (idle) there Lordstown plant twice in March to cease Cobalt production and ramp up the plant for Cruze production. This will allow them to have Cruzes' in dealerships by summer.

So is March 2010 the cease date for Cobalt production???

So.. March is the last month on the entire cobalt production, not just the sedan?

Its not a good idea to keep building cars that people aren't buying. Too much supply combined with low demand drives prices down.

The rest of it is because it takes awhile to retool an entire assembly plant for a different vehicle.
