ok so smaller engine and slightly heavier car. if the 2.0 lnf was in it then yeah it would be formidable but even in our cars if you launch it wrong you jump then lose all power down to the probably 120hp in the engine itself until u move a little bit and build boost.

I haven't raced that car in about 10 years. I know there was some vids from the Mid Michigan Motorplex. I really don't know where I'd find them, though.

We don't yet know the extent that we will mod this car. It will depend on how the market begins to take shape. We will start with an intake, downpipe, and tune. The cold side charge tube is a little more complex on this car and the intercooler is sandwiched between the radiator and condensor. If people are willing to mod these cars, then we will add those parts. If GM releases a 2.0 turbo verion, we will be all over it.

I'm glad you guys bought the 1.3-4 or whatever it is... lol turbo model... hope you see some good numbers with it... I had the option of a cruze or a cobalt 4dr with a 2.2. I chose the 2.2 because displacement can't USUALLY be replaced easily. You guys have worked your majic before so I won't be surprised if this turns out very well for you. I just felt down the road I'td be easier to mod a 2.2 since its been done before and I can get ideas already...
edit 2.0 to a 2.2 since i bought a 2.2 and not a 2.0.. stupid keyboard

As I mentioned earlier, I have been shopping for a new Cruze. Last week I found one that I liked and made an offer. They decided to accept the offer a couple days later and we put the deal together. Tim drove down to Ohio today to pick it up. Here's a pic back at the shop:
I will get it on the dyno in the next day or two and see what it's got! Oh, wait... It's not going to make much power... yet.

yea but the interior of the cruze looks like it had more time put into designing it and was put together with better parts. the interior of coballts look and feel cheaply made which it is.

Honestly, I sat in a cruze and wasent impressed yea it was nice don't get me wrong. I will agree 10x better than the balt on the inside... but it still coulda been a lot better for the price... :/ 25ish k when all said and done at the model I was looking at.
And I could get a decently used audi for that price...

Lol I know but all he said was... well the interior is better... I could give a rats ass about the interrior... your talking to a guy who drove a van in high school... why because of my system... just sayin... I don't care to hear that excuse (the car is not better and does not denote that kind of money just because of the interior... even motortrend said so...)...
