Ahh well see my dp already doesnt have a flange but is 3" so I had to use a reducer down to 2.5" and hack the flange off the new exhaust... so much fun. Maybe by around midnight i will have vids and pix. I forgot how long/ frustrating it gets when u work on a car.. lol.

dude... for some reason i cant get my silencer off... its like wedged in.... ne clues on how 2 get it out?

 

i couldn't tell you man.. i have never had a silencer. How does the exhaust look though like im worried because its a 4.5 inch tip, its going to look like a fart can, i really do not want that on my cobalt

This is a 2.5" system, right? If so, I'll be ordering off ebay this week.

 

Mine was wedged in too, I used a pull hamer at school, you can rig up one pretty simple, get something that has a small hook on the end, hook it around the back of the silencer(through the pipe in the center) and rip on it.

 

for some reason i do not think the tip is 4.5 inches. it looks like a 3 or 3.5 inch tip judging by the pics i've seen

 

the balt one is like 3.5 i think the ion one is 4.5

no i didn't i went to meineke to get the flange fixed and they were closed at 4 even though there were supopsed to be open to 6

Mine and Ecotecpower's are 3.5" the one you are talking about is the N1 which is basically a rebadged Megan with a FART CANNON.

 

hey yall i have the tsudo catback and i love the hell out of it great price and great sound

 

shocking isn't it? and people say you get what you pay for .. sometimes.. just sometimes you can find good deals from a lesser known company that makes good products

 

beware though I found a rust spot a few days ago on my tip.

Ebay back in May of 2k7, it was $250 shipped. I only paid $190 though since my uncle owed me a birthday present from Dec of 2k6. You cant get them anymore on ebay from what I understand.

 

I am wondering what this would sound like on a 2.0, also if the power gains would be there like with the other cat backs, I have the vibrant header and downpipe.

 

It sounds similar to the Hahn but deeper and not as loud. Probably will be a little louder with the header and DP.

why does it say it wont fit the supercharged model?

 

it will fit... its just stupid... allll cobalt and ions exhaust is the same.. its the SS/SC header and the 2.2/2.4l header that is different in the exhaust thats it! everything else is the same

oh and i got my silencer off :]] ill TRY 2 get vidz and pix 2day
