me vs b16 boosted eg coupe?
me vs b16 boosted eg coupe?
idk the difference between eg ek and all that b.s. he had a b16 swap i/h/e 60 trim turbo... 65 roll (he still spun)... winner wassss him lol by alot epic FAIL but i didnt care he is a cool guy.
he was running 15psi, i asked for a dig and a 40 roll he said it is impossible to do a dig and a 40 roll he would spin like crazy... so he suggested 60 i said 65. i was just trying to be fair. but i would of loved to do a dig because i would of destroyed him because of his lack of traction and one wheel peal lol. it wasn't even a race. it was a "damn im bored"

Your just basically a stage 2 with your mods in your sig. He would of still beat you from a dig but you would have a lil jump but not by much and then he would of hit third when you shift into second and left ya.. I know from experiance
i never said there was a b18 or gsr etc.. i think i said it was a b16... and a boosted built type r, gsr or whatever the hell it is will smoke 75% of the cobalts on this forum
Lol you got smoked and now your butthurt. Saying you'll beat it from dig which you never could with your setup... Truth hurts I guess
K series would torn him a new ******* and then some. ****** hondas are ridiculous when it comes to making easy power
a slow toy. n/a honda's are mostly a joke. a friend of mine with a 09 ss/tc (intake, downpipe, trifecta 23 lbs.) raced a built n/a k20a3 eg hatch(everything but cams) and smoked the living hell out of it. about 7+ lengths. now a boosted one is pretty awesome if its built right. dont know why but i have always wanted a boosted si lol. but then i saw a vid on youtube of a 2006ish si with 8lbs vs a ss/tc on 22lbs trifecta tune with the stock k04. cobalt edged it out
. id still take the chevy

Some high compression N/A LS/VTEC and CR/VTEC motors are monsters. They still don't have a massive amount of torque but the are powerful.
For those that don't know they are non-vtec blocks with vtec heads. The non-vtec b18 and the b20 put out better torque than the b16 and b18c1/c5. They cost a decent amount to build them reliably.
Most turbo hondas are expensive to built if your looking for Long term reliability. Also these guys saying K-Series are the way to go, they are several thousand dollars to swap into ef/eg/ek/dc platforms. Better off doing a turbo on the existing motor. A proper boosted K is even more expensive yes it will be fast as hell but you can be just as fast for a couple grand less.
You can make any motor have tons of power. Even the SOHC vtec motors, proved by Bisimoto and his 700hp wagovan.
