Idk if you missed my post up there^^ there is a longer shaft you can get that fits, just hard to find. My neighbor bought one for his cavi. 95-96 sunfire gt and cavalier z24. Has to be five speed and a 2.3 quad four.

Looks like the part number for that shaft is 26034381. The carrier in the diagram looks like it wont work without modification

If the overall diameter is the same, we might get lucky and be able to use the carrier from an LSJ or the Vue on the old shaft

it's still a male ended shaft. It would be nice to have a female end like the lsj so that you could use twin axles, but at this point something is better than nothing. It would be nice to be able to carry one spare axle for both sides lol

well for now it will just be a standard swap to an f23. as my trans is dying.
so I'll cross those other bridges when I get to that point.
I have a few other ideas for the pass side monstrousity, but I have to do some measuring before I say anything.

That actually would be pretty awesome... And probably a hell of a lot cheaper option than zzp's 6 speed

would be a hell of a lot cheaper than an f40 kit. we get f23's around here from $150-$350 depending on mileage. last swap we did was a total of $500 (axles, shifter cables and trans)

Maybe we can take a look at your car on the hoist and measure?

well should get a good idea tomorrow what a stock f23 will hold.
taking phil's redline to slipstream racings spring invitational tomorrow. have nitrous jets up to a 250shot if we still can't get this thing to boost of 25.5psi (made 538whp boost only) shooting for 700whp for the race tomorrow. 1/2 mile dig racing.... oh hell yeah

my car will be out at the beast coast shootout this year finally. taking a few days off from work in a week to go through the car and fix the oil leaks and clean up some wiring. May throw the bottle in for that event.... we shall see

didn't get any vids yet, check out slipstream racing events on facebook for vids. only a few up so far, but I"m sure more will be up soon.
car held up pretty good. trans and axles stayed in one piece. unfortunately it was btwn 28-35 degrees out for the whole day, so nothing but wheel spin even in 4th gear on radials. phil's car did pretty good though, best trap of the day was 146.7mph (beat all the ferrari's out there lol).
I"ll have my car out at the beast coast shootout in july, and maybe at the pocono roll race event too. nitrous goes in this weekend along with the cut out and new plugs. let's see what she can do

looking forward to the nitrous install this weekend lol. gotta pick up new plugs though, may hold off spraying until I get the cut out installed as I have a feeling some of the spark issues are back pressure related. may just run open down pipe for some tests anyway lol.

nitrous is up and running, spark issue is fixed. car is an animal.
registered for the beast coast shootout in july, but should be out at the track in a week or 2 to see what she can do.
need to hit the dyno again too. want to see 600whp on boost and 675+ on spray (only running an approx 55 shot right now)
