Was cutting out huge portions of the tunnel necessary? Is the AR5 a lot bigger than the S13 trans?

Unfortunately i had to cut it due to a sensor on the top of the trans that was hitting the tunnel and parts of the trans casing was too and yes i belive overall it is bigger than the Nissan trans but not 100percent on that

ew, what sensor is that? Do you know for certain? Hopefully it's just the one that lights up reverse lights and I can just plug the hole instead of cutting my trans tunnel.

Got some work done i did the trans tunnel and dash bar.
The cobalt ss clutch pedal & gas pedal is now in the 240 as well as the cobalt steering wheel. Next is the brake pedal and placement of the fusebox, ecu, bcm under the dash on the passanger side and start laying out the cobalt harnesses and extend what ever i have to.

with the filter right there, what about when the fans come on, wont that be pulling the hot air off the radiator and pulling it right into the air filter?

If it does then ill make a shield and duct fresh air towards it and wiring hasn't been that bad so far had to extend a few wires but not to bad
