Talking Going turbo on my lsj

A lot of you already know that I'm going turbo on my 07 lsj that is fully built with a built head as well. I am going with a precision 6262sp turbo setup in a .63 AR housing. With my higher compression and head work combined wth revving higher, I believe this turbo will put me right where I want to be. Around 600whp and a mid to low 10 second car. Kit will start shipping this week, and I will update the thread with pictures and such. Spring 2013 at the track is going to be a fun season.

Already have slicks you know that. I may add drag bags and skinnies to complete the setup though

Might as well do it all since youve done so much to the rest of the car. Going to run full weight?

I can't wait. Unfortunately ill have to go to both tracks around me and run her ***** out and get McKee off the track until she's caged . Unless I do a track rental then they don't care. I'm gonna say easy mid 10s with 135ish traps will be pretty easy on the boost I'm gonna run. And if not now ill be able to turn a dial and up the boost

Everything was 3900 including a whole exhaust setup. The turbo is brand new as well and alone is about 1600$

Def Sub'd.....What made you really want to go Turbo? I remeber that you were one of the few that was dead set on staying s/c(which I thought was kind of cool), I'm guessing that you pretty much maxed out your old set up and looking for some new challenges?

only way to meet his goal is turbo, tvs is never going to break 600whp, with his current set up id say a tvs would put out 400whp at most imo

My car was around 430ish with the tvs after my build and head work. Yanked. 410whp m3 e46 on nitrous pretty bad. Main reason was I maxed the tvs and couldn't use my motor and head to its full potential. I still have love for blown cars though and my records haven't been touched yet lol

She was also on E85 then too. The first time she has been on corn. Before people ask no the car wasn't dynoed but the tune on the car was 10.9 afr and little timing while breaking the motor in and ran the m3. That had been dynoed and weighs the same as us. I also had my gf in the car and he was alone.
