I don't think WickedSS2005 is a person that people should be taking advice on tuning from.

I've had the chance to fix, or rather completely redo, some of his tunes lately. I advised him to stop tuning until he learned more, but it seems he just likes the money. Wonder what he's gonna do when somebody breaks something due to his lack of knowledge. The words "I don't need a wideband" come from his mouth. That's not confidence as a tuner, that's just stupidity.

Hey guys, I've been debating about the TVS for a while, and now with the Stage 3 kit from OTTP (and taxes returns getting close) I think I might go for it. I have a few questions though...

1- Is it safe to run the TVS with a 2.9" pulley on 80lb injectors, with a h/e (dual pass/opt B coming soon), and without meth?

2- I have the GMPP Sport catback on my car now (with the Vibrant header/dp) I assume I'm going to have to upgrade to something 3" because the GMPP one is too restrictive, correct?

3- How far can you take the TVS before you have to use meth?

4- Out of curiousty, what kind of track times are you guys seeing? Just wondering.

Thanks guys

it will survive just fine. i am running mine without meth, and have been for several months. the lack of timing sucks though. it all comes down the tune. mine lived through a 170+mph run ***** deep in 5th gear last night. egt's peaked at 1500 for reference.

What do you think about my exhaust question? I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get a new 3" one anyway, but saving $400+ is never a bad thing haha

And 170mph in a Cobalt? Area, my friend, I think that may be a new record

Is it spring yet? No...it be January lol I prolly would have the intake, TVS, and injectors in and just run it on the stock pulley for a while to break it in, but Wicked won't drag his butt up here to help and tune me cuz it's cold out lol

Btw, I don't have to go anywhere, if other ppl can troll on this site then so can I lol

Area are you back on pump gas now? Or have you reached the limits of E85 as far as timing goes?

rpm, tire size, gear ratio. not hard to figure it all out.

back on pump gas due to cold temps and e85's nature to not fire well when cold

I was worried about firing in cold on E85 but to my surprise my car has started perfect every time, even in 30 below temps
