this set of wheels will be handling the power....

I received the set of Forgestar F14 Flow-formed wheels about 2 months ago, but didnt open them until recently since I was very busy.

thank you Forgestar Wheels | The Worlds 1st 1 piece lightweight flow formed wheel lineup for the sponsorship!

Matte black 18" x 10" on all corners, only 18 lbs each

they'll be wrapped with Nitto NT05 295/35/18 which will be perfect for my application

Here are some sneak peak photos....

In regards to powertrain upgrades, Driveshaft Shop will sponsor me a set of:

pair of 600 whp Rear Axle Kit!

I didn't go for the 1000 whp Rear axle kit, since this car will not be an all-out drag car. Car will still remain a daily driver.....and 600 whp is plenty enough for my power goals

Rear axle upgrade includes larger 34 spline high grade aircraft quality center bars, tripod style billet inner CV's with chromoly spline into the differential and a pair of races to convert the outer CV to fit the larger 34 spline bars. Kit also includes boots, clamps and grease.

When do you plan on being done with your build? I'm doing a very similar build in terms of compound charging and power level on my LSJ. Would be fun to meet up when we are both done with them?

We're planning to be done around end of March 2011.

But who knows what will happen and also some unexpected delays????

We're on unchartered territory......so we'll see.....

Sounds good. Mine should be complete in August 2011 depending on delays and what-not also.

who is doing your build?

the exhaust manifold for the two turbos and fitting them inside the engine bay is one of the tricky parts.

and of course, the tuning.

I envy you!

You got the skills, knowledge, and tools needed!

I only have very basic skills and tools. I am no welder/machinist/fabricator to create the exhaust manifold.

good luck!

Thanks man. Although, mine isn't quite as complex and complicated as yours.

Since I'm using the stock blower, that is my spool up helper. So I just purchased a zzp turbo manifold for my setup. Easy for me. I'm using the Holset HX40 in my sig, so I simply changed out the exhuast housing to a T3 hotside to bolt to the manifold. I'll probably buy a zzp race intercooler and charge piping along with a zzp downpipe. But I'll end up welding the rest of my exhaust myself.

Good luck to you as well. Yours will be quite the marvel!

Awesome. Think about how cool it would be. With just the 2 of us, we could make a vid that says, 2 cobalts......over 1200whp. But if we get like 3 or 4..........you see the potential.

Lipstick's FAT shoes

Nitto just hooked me up with a set of Nitto NT05 295/35/18

They'll be responsible for putting the power to the ground.
