Very nice work! I love those Sky's!

Unfortunately you will not be the first 600hp DD LNF though, not sure if the owner's let you know that yet or not.

Definitely looking forward to your end result though!

actually, I know that I wont be the first 600hp DD lnf

my title states simply that it will be the 600HP FIRST LNF COMPOUND TURBO and engine build

no compound turbos out there yet....sooooo....

if we can get a higher number than 600hp..........y not?

I definitely think you'll be able to see numbers closer to 700. Look forward to it!

I'm hoping bro. Thank you for the support!

But seriously, not really aiming very high numbers. I'll be very happy with a solid 600 horses that is driveable, reliable, and streetable

My 400whp sky was driveable, streetable, and reliable for 2 years. I use it for my daily commute even during winter (3-4" of snow).........

so, I'm hoping that adding 200 more horses and still keep reliability, streetability, driveability, will make my dreams come true

Head will be sent out to ABT Machine Co for valve job.

SMG will port the head.

Then head will be sent to nitrofreeze.com for cryo-treatment

supertechperformance.com is generous enough to help me out with a set of oversized valves, 78# springs, retainers

Can't wait to see where these turbos will be mounted and fitted. And would love to meet the exhaust guy that's gonna be bending and welding all of it lol

where the turbos will be mounted? ......gotta stay tuned!

exhaust guy that will be fabbing the manifold? ....... his name is BTF (aka baldturbofreak). He used to be very active with the LNF crowd, but slowly faded away ....and focused on another platform instead. Unfortunately for the LNF crowd
My gt3076r turbo kit.....as well as my gt3582r kit was made by him.

He is very knowledgeable in tuning and a great fab/weld guy. He is my first and only choice to build my compound build....the only guy that I trust...

its not a simple build.....

its not just a simple turbo kit...

its a big project involving lots of relocation inside the tight engine bay.........

plus drivetrain parts are being upgraded.......

I ended up buying a $700 2000 Saturn SC2 beater car last October 2010 so I have somethin to use, since I know it will be a long wait

Even if after things are installed, there will be bugs to fix............and tuning will be challenging too.

yeah, it sucks big time ....waitin.......

If you're trying to flow more than 70 lb/min, and trying to get more than 600whp, unfortunately our stock fuel system will not be able to support it.

Even if we can raise our fuel pressure to 2800psi thru trifecta tune/HPT tune, the stock fuel system, still have a hard time.

Water/Meth kits are nice, and will help cool the air and prevents detonation. If you use 100% pure meth, it will help add more fuel, but it can only do so much even if you add 4 injectors on the manifold. I was talking to Chance from Devil's own, and he advised me that if I really want to add more fuel during high boost/more air...........water/meth spray is not the way to go.

So after consulting with different LNF tuners, I ended up going with PORT INJECTION using a secondary fuel rail. I will also use an additional fuel cell so I don't have to tap from the stock fuel tank line.

This will make sure that I will have enough fuel injection during high boost/more air during high rpms.

I would like to give THANKS to these companies for their support of my compound turbo build:

Ross Machine Racing 410-510-3023 - High Performance Aluminum Fuel Rail and Billet Aluminum Intake Manifolds and Manifold Parts = -8 fuel rail, brackets, and bungs

RC Fuel Injection = set of 70 lb RC engineering injectors

Nitrous Express ť Next Generation Nitrous Oxide Systems = SAFE fuel system w/ high output fuel pump and adjustable fuel pressure regulator

Split Second = Additional Injectors Controller and R4 Software

Thanks Matt!

But I already have a walbro 255lph pump. I think that will be enough for me especially with my secondary fuel system.

looks like thats a 3 inch...so does that mean that your going to run a 3 inch exhaust now or is a 4" still a possibility?

yes, its a 3" cut-out.

It was actually sent to me last year.....

I might sent it back to DMH, if we decided to go w/ a 4" exhaust.

and get the 4" cut-out instead
