Lower intake port and polish project
Not neccessarly. Your computer is being told what a/f to make from the Maf. The Maf was tuned to read your old setup. Now your IM is flowing more air so the readings from the Maf may not be right for the for the new setup.
yea, uh, you are really wrong about that. Once again I appreciate the effort and the observations that you posted from doing this already, but the car is definitely going to run differently. I would venture to say it's a tad leaner now. Changing something like that will definitely affect the tune on the car. Once you get logs up and what not, it will be nice to see what's going on under the hood.
well, we don't know for sure, but I'd say it's more than that. It's probably the car running leaner and the fact that the boost comes on quicker also. Probably added more tq than hp though with getting the boost to hit quicker. But that's still a good thing.
That airflow still has to flow by the MAF, air isn't introduced anywhere else in the system so as long as the MAF table is correct through every cell his fueling will stay the same. Having said that I'm sure Volumetric Efficiency is different which would alter fueling.
No prob Jayson. You caught me on my only day off and put me to work!
And I think the reason why you didn't feel that big of a boost is probably because we took my car a couple times, and feeling that thing pull, and then back to yours, just doesn't feel as fast ;-)

Just a little update, im having a weird boost leak problem that i cant figure out really where its coming from, the boost leak only occurs after a little bit of driving, when the engine is cold there is not leak, but once ive been driving for a bit, im only seeing 10 PSI.
On another note, did a little monitoring with HP tuners the other day, was about 65-70F outside. Normal driving i was seeing IAT2s of around 130-140F, at WOT it would sit constantly at 120F.

Whew!!!! Jayson, your iat's are pretty high. That 120 is decent under WOT, but your cruising IAT's are up there.
As for port and polished manifold, honestly, there wasn't much of a gain, if any, to be had. The head is keeping it from doing much. But my single pass part of it, now that works GREAT!
