Is that your NAWZ? Spraying it into the Exhaust to make your exhaust flow faster... and shoot metallic green flames?

I know.

I had considered that at one time... but I think a proper pump set-up putting the Crankcase into vacuum would do much better.

Did you actually change the port on the back of the valve cover? Or leave it stock? Changing that port is the start of successful crankcase ventilation.

I think I seperated those sentances correctly.

Do you mean the Port for the PCV Valve that's in the stock Intake Mani? I've got mine blocked off now. Threaded it, then had an Allen Head plug put in.

And a pump set-up can be cost effective, but done properly, it probably won't be.

I've got the SAI pump off of my VR6 lying around. It should make a good start pump. Put a catch can of sorts in-between it and the -10an fitting that'll be on my valve cover... then rig a Hobbs Switch to engage the pump at 10psi. Should work out quite well, I think. We'll see. One of the better solutions, imo. Pulling 5-10in/hg of vacuum in the crankcase should benefit the engine quite well.

we used a smog pump as a vaccum on are 70 duster it worked quite well after we figured the pully size but untill we did we were starving the engine of oil one thing we noticed was the rings ability to seal alot better once things were figured out

I've got the SAI off of a VR6 lying around. I might rig something up this winter. Should be fairly simple to make. Placement is where I'll probably have trouble.

That's the key problem that needs to be eliminated. Make all the outside provisions you want... that fitting is still too small. Needs at least a -10an fitting put on.

the header collector would have been a much better place to put your fitting

he did it more to keep oil out of the intake than to actually relieve anything in the PCV system iirc

I'm aware, but that's not happening unfortunately.

No room & it takes about 2 hours to take the header off
