mis-judged the bung placement

need to bring it up 2 inches to clear the exhaust canal/heat shield

going back to the exhaust shop tomorrow... fml

which PCV port. the one on the intake? (which is closed off) or the one on the valve cover? (which leads to the crank case...) the path is just from crank case to exhaust with a check valve in between. I dont see any connection to the intake.

unfortunately not

unusual set backs unfortunately occurred

hoping to get them cleared up by Thursday at the latest, so I can finish the tune and get it on the rollers by this Saturday.

the only way the pcv is closed off 100% is if you put a pipe plug in it that check ball setup iis garbage

you talking about the pcv plug in the center of the intake manifold flange?

steve explained it to me. the 2.2 head doesnt have the IM to head port, so i forgot about its existence.

well when we first used one hardly and i mean hardly anyone had done one we used a air pump and played with the pully size till we got it right and yes we did starve an engine of oil to much vaccum makes it hard for the pump to suck it up and it will force the oil to stay up high in the head

are you referring to the ecotec platform specifically? and it doesnt make it harder for the pump to suck it up. The pump is pulling from the pan from a submerged point. The oil would not resist flow at all.
