2009 Hyundai Genesis

Just thought I would share my current daily driver. Bought it last year at 82k, now has 96k. Other than catching up on maintenance that the previous owner neglected to do it has been reliable and comfortable. The 4.6 V8 also catches people off guard. Just wish there was more aftermarket support for the platform and engine. Has BC coils, custom catback exhaust, Konig Hypergrams, and soon to be 4 inch intake tube mated to the factory airbox.

I had a genesis. Watch the flex discs on the driveshaft. You do not have to replace the freaking driveshaft if they go out like hyundai says.... or tried to say when I had mine. They tend to get cracks and cause vibration .. sort of like the Cobalts CABs. I had the 3.8 - solid motor.. but someone high on PCP driving through it at 70ish mph (I wasn't in it) sort of put a damper on it being a good car.....

So far she's been holding up very well, just took a 1000 mile round trip to Detroit for the Dream Cruise. Ran against my buddy who has a 15 Chevy SS and he only pulled about a car on me from a dig to 60, he had 4 people in his car versus my 2 however. Still impressed with how close it was. I'm currently in Bridgeville but moving out to McKeesport in the next month or so. And thank you for the tip on the flex discs, I was made aware of the fact that you can replace them separate but didn't know they could cause vibration. I've been trying to chase down a slight vibration at highway speeds, that might just fix it.
