Buy Dodge Dart now

Word on the street is that the Dart is close to a dead platform.

Dodge is cutting the price by a ton. 4-6k dollars

These things won't be worth 5k in 2 years.

That's what I'm hearing. I mean if you're buying a car to keep forever and run into the ground sure maybe. But from a financial standpoint of selling the car down the road this isn't great advise.

I don't see what's wrong with that. Buy a cheap new car. Don't plan on selling it. Profit.

Anyone thinking of buying a new car to make money back isn't thinking right. Maybe if you buy a used car for cheap and fix some issues and try to re sell for a few bucks. Buying new cars never really makes sense financially since they will always loose value

Yes, a car is never an investment in and of itself.

I have bought 2 Chevy Cobalts. An LS for 11k new and an SS/TC for 18,250 with 88 miles on it.

It's not about resale value, it's about getting into a car that gets 40mpg, and is somewhat disposable.

Also hearing that Dodge may up the ante to 7 year 0% financing. So yes for those that want to run it into the ground, it's not a horrible purchase.

Imagine the idiots that just paid 20k for these cars. They are so far behind on their cars right now.

Owning a Dodge Durango here. Not a base mode either. I must say its a cheap car. Shitty interior. Worse than the cobalt just more fancy plastic and up to date Nav screen thingy. There is nothing great dodge is offering for the price. However. I also have a 2011 F150 Platinum and it blows the 2015 Dodge Durango out the water.
Can't wait til the lease is up. Gonna see what dodge offers.

Meh the Darts here are still $18k+. The Focus starts at $13k, and it is a way better car than the Dart. Plus Ford doesn't discontinue models at nearly the rate Dodge seems to be doing.
