Not your typical pick-em-up truck... Ectotec in an '80 Chevy Luv

Not much going on. Been buying boring stuff.
Picked up an alternator and 80# injectors off of Jeff.
Purchased misc. sensors that I needed to complete the LSJ harness swap.
Finally got the correct rotors so that I could wrap up the front suspension.
Bought tires for the front.
Also bought one of OTTP's remote oil adapters. I had been working on fabricating one, but never had it welded up. They came out with theirs, so I figured I would just bolt that on instead.

They are non-existent in the north-east. Should turn some heads for sure.

i had looked at the cbm water block thing way back but i thought it was kinda big for what i was doing. i eliminated the crossover pipe and built my own setup. i basically welded a pipe to the back of the water pump cover and welded a remote thermostat housing to it. that setup looks like its gonna work well for your truck though.
what size fittings are those on your oil cooler adapter? maybe its the perspective but they looks kinda of small.

They're -6. The cooler I bought has 1/4" NTP in/out. The plan is to run it inside the frame rail under the drivers side floor board. But I'm also open to other suggestions if this could cause oil starvation/be inefficient.

True Engine Oil oil coolers generally come with AN-10 fittings for a reason. Your link points to a transmission cooler, not an oil cooler. Get a true engine oil cooler that is non restrictive and take advantage of the large main fittings on that adapter. It looks like they are AN-10

Yeah it's been a crazy summer/fall. My daughter was born at the and of August, followed by a kitchen reno that I am still buttoning up. So needless to say, my free time has been scarce. I did purchase HPTuners, made a bench harness, and downloaded the factory tune. Just need to buy the credits to disable VATS. I also bought a much nicer set of wheels for it. Same style, just much better shape.
Hopefully after the holidays I will be able to take it to my Dad's shop to get some of the heavy stuff done, like fabricating motor mounts, and getting the rear end set into place. The space has been occupied by my brother's S-10 while it was getting a 5.3 swapped in.
