sure there is. simplest would be an AR5 from a colorado 4x4 and use a solstice bellhousing. there is also an aftermarket bellhousing for ecotec to t5. if you want to go automatic the easiest solution is to use an adapter plate. the ecotec to small v6 adapter (think 4t65e) would allow you use use a 700r4, 4l60e or a chrysler 904. using an adapter to large gm would open up just about any gm rwd/4wd transmission.

Did you ever finish the build bro? My brother has an 82 luv that he wants to drop an LSJ in and i wanted to know if there were any updates to the build cause its honestly pretty sick.
