K04 civic

Hi everyone. About a year ago I pulled a k04 off of a turbo verano from the junkyard. I have been wanting to turbocharge my civic with the k04, but as you all know the k04 has some very unique hotside flanges. Does anyone make a t3 to k04 adapter? I'm tired of making only 99hp 😭

Finding someone who makes a k04 adaptor is pretty unlikely. It’s an obscure one that only exists on the lnf manifold as far as I know. Easiest option would probbaly be to get a vband welded on or just grinding off the flange edges and getting a t3/t4 flange added. Honestly would probably be cheaper to source a turbo off an Audi a4 or something with a more common flange. If you’re looking to keep it twin scroll it would be a pita as well since the decvider isn’t a strait line.

That's to bad it doesn't seem like anyone makes an adapter. I don't even want to attempt to use the twin scroll, especially with the crappy cast log turbo manifolds they get used on all the civics.

Yeah the twin scroll would be all but useless in this scenario, fairy small turbo though they still spool well without it. Better options out there though, good luck with your project
