Possible big problem? HELP

Someone please help me im panicking right now, i bout an 08 ss turbo the other day, its chipped and tuned, i ran it low on coolant, the temp light came on and i smelt burnt, so i stopped and let it cool down, after a while the light shut off so i decided to limp it home, when i was almost home i noticed the turbo wasnt making much boost anymore and i was down on power, no weird noises or anything, it was -20c outside that night, is that some sort of safety mode or did i screw up my engine or turbo, please someone tell me my car isnt fucked.

What I would be worried about is what caused you to run low on coolant. And yes if you were close to overheating I would think the ECU might limit the power a bit.

i heard about something called porous block, but it was mostly on lower mileage cars, mine has 160000 kms i feel like if it had a porous block it would have cracked before now, or am i just dreaming

Pourus block can happen even on cars with 60k miles. Fill it up and get the air out of the system and check the condition of your oil. Why were you boosting when running low on coolant as all that does is heat the motor up? Not real smart.
