Ok, so everyone's see the newest gen TL with the amber running lights right?:



with my FXR projectors, and switch back turn signal projectors (being built buy Andy @ TRS) there will be a lack or amber aside from when the turn signal is on.

So id like to make some sort of amber running light to go on the lower sections of the LS bumper. Not being an opening, i will have to dremel a small hole for the wires, and this also seriously limits my mounting methods.

Basically all I can really think of is silicone/glueing amber led strips down, like this style:

Im open to all options ideas, ill wire them to the signals so ill have the switchback projectors and the amber led strips (lower grille) flash together.

Then the question is where do i add the resistors? do i have to add them for the leds and then seperate ones for the switchbacks?

 

It's possible that if u wire them together there may be enough juice that u may not need resistors to stop hyper flash. Idk for sure tho

 

why do you need amber?

 

because ive done the hid/switchback thing before and I really missed having some amber light upfront, just think it looks good. im going to try something out soon here.

it will be a bit, my headlights are going out friday shipping to TRS for the build 50w FXR's with E55-R shrouds and 100mm CCFL's, I will be the only one to have that big of a ccfl ring of a E55 shroud, too my knowledge no one has done it yet, at least on hidplanet anyways.
