aftermarket steering wheel question

I ordered my momo hub, nrg quick release and nardi steering wheel, and I should have them in by friday. I need my horn to work, but someone told me it wont work with an aftermarket wheel. is this true?

i think it depends on the steering wheel but i think most should just plug in to the horn wire

Not plug and play. It could probably be done but I didn't want to mess with it

It will work just fine as long as your hub has a horn wire option attached to it.not all hubs come with a horn wire inside them.if yours does just hook up the wires and go from there.if there is no wire inside your gonna have to do some modding and wire running lol

The hub did have a horn wire but it was weird cause it only had one wire, the nardi button had two. I just have an aftermarket set of hella horns to a separate switch

They have a Momo hub for us but only through cobalt addiction. It's a modified momo hub that it machined to our spline count

if the momo hub has only 1 wire comming from it and the horn button has 2 wires, the 1 wire goes to the horn button and the ground off the horn button you would run a wire to tuck under neath the main nut that holds the hub to the steering colum.this completing the circut when the horn is pushed.this extra wire will be the ground.
