i got mine from ebay. I love it! mine came right off. Just tell them the year of your car and they will give you the right one. it looks really good with the low rise wing

i got it fixed...$120 bucks ahhh i find it rediculous, but oh well. i put my new shorty on there and it looks pretty slick

 

Thanks for the help guys. I just placed an order for a shorty plus I got a strut tower brace as well. They were going for $89 on sale, I thought that was a pretty good deal. Anyway, now the waiting starts

 

Wow that never happened to me, I made a custom shorty antenna yesterday, just using a a clean dry rag and pliars, and a 1/4 vacuum cap Lol. the antenna came off easy for me. make sure when you use your cloth not to make it too thick by folding it over and over again, you'll get no traction when you try to take it off. Lol

I used my hands first The antenna was seized so matter what tool or how hard I tried it wasn't coming off.

 

You are not the only one to have that problem...98% of Cobalts have antennas that come off easily...the other 2% had their antennas installed at the factory on a Friday -- the installer was in a hurry and cross threaded them...

 

Finally got my ARK antenna today. After months of messing around with this its finally done
