Would this kind of be like the lip on the front of the SS SC?

if you're talking about the lower deflector, which is highlited in red when i opened that link, it's the plastic piece that hangs down under the front bumper.... just like it sounds, it deflects stuff from the road (rocks, snow, whatever)

I kind of think its a front lip for the base Cobalt.. like the one in the GM Accessories ground effects package. The front lip for the SS/SC is ALSO called a "deflector" on that website. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Thats what it looks like to me a lip for the base model. The deflector will be in rad mounting and related parts.

No , the lip in that diagram is the stock black textured radiator deflector on the base model front bumper cover . Ive already been thru this at the dealer trying to get the correct lip for my SS . If your looking for the SS/SC lip , GM parts computers list it with a goofy name . Something like and " front bumper lower extension " something like that . If I saved my invoice I'd give u the GM part # , but I dont have it anymore .

Do some searching through this thread. It has the PN for the LS Dealer RK Sport package as well as the Stock SS S/C.

Even so , the lower lip u told him was right , was not right . Look at the base model bumper cover diagram he posted , and the SS bumper cover diagram I posted If you ordered the lip from the base model diagram , you got the wrong one . Even wholesale the SS lip is more than 70 bux .

Here in Denver for the last 4 weeks we call that part a "snow plow." We see them laying around in snow piles all over the street.
