Autometer Dual Gauge Pillar

Here are my installed picks.

The directions and hardware that comes with it are USELESS. I need to go to the store to get the screw to finish the install...

It's black, it fits decently. I just wish they put the stupid screw in with the pillar....

Looks good, not including a screw is pretty cheap though.

Looks Good! I'm still waiting for PTuning to ship mine. The triples have been backordered for almost 2 weeks.

Someone said you could put the autometer pillar over the stock one and you wouldnt need the screw. Any idea if this is possible?

When you get it let me know. I would like to see it in person.

No problem. I plan on keeping the stock boost gauge in the bottom position. I have an Aeroforce Interceptor coming Monday (with free poly tranny mounts cause i heart intense) which will go in the middle and I'm going to make a run to Summit the day my pillar gets here to buy an AEM Wideband to put in the top position.

Meh, so how easy is it to remove our passenger side pillar so we can paint it black to match?

DUH, I guess if you have to pull the driver's side because you're replacing it with the autometer pod then you're going to know how to pull the passenger side... Sorry it's kinda early... lol...

No thats not possible at all, not sure why someone would say that.

I have my stock boost at the bottom because there isn't much length in the harness for it.

Looks good. Congrats. Are they making these pillars that stock cream color yet or just black?

Well I am pretty disappointed with the looks of that. You would think that would make something that will blend in there and look a little more stock. mismatching pillars is going to lok terrible

You could always paint the Autometer pillar the same as the stock one....I think it'd look better that way than painting the stock passenger one black.

Post #36 here https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...t=25612&page=2 He said he was able to mount over the stock pillar. I found that odd as well. I guess I'll plan on getting a longer screw and just replacing it then.

The black sucks. I was going to jump all over this, but now i'll wait it off for a while. Anyone know how to match the stock pillar's color? Its tan w/ some sort blue specelled texture paint. The whole screw not included this is kinda wack.

I see TTR sells the pillars.

$59.68

Anyone know any other companies selling it and their prices?

can't you just use the screw that holds the Stock pillar on?

I'm not quite sure, but the stock screw doesn't have a countersunk head like the one needed for the autometer pillar.
