+1 on the trunk lid

I tried to photo shop a hood the best I could and am sure it would look better in real life.

^^^ That's the hood I have, but I had it wrapped along with the rest of the car

My trunk lid is CF as well, however I had it wrapped as well. It is the one with no 3rd brake light or key hole

When I got the car wrapped the company that did it was constantly after me to wrap parts in CF vinyl and I refused, if I do CF parts I want it to be real CF.

My only beef with most CF parts on the market, is they are more expensive than the fiberglass counterparts, but if you cut into them they are mostly fiberglass anyway!!
This is the hood I used to have (traded straight up for the one I have now)

There was a point where I ran a light into the underside of this hood, I drilled a 2.5" hole near the hinge to run the power through the hood, the bottom side of the outer skin was fiberglass, I assume the CF is one layer of CF and the rest is FG. When I discovered that a friend of mine boasted about his Seibon CF hood and hatch for his RX7 being all real CF, he paid $1000 each and I showed him that they are the same, a CF layer on a FG part.

Before I had the CF parts wrapped, I was looking for a wing blade, JUST the blade, but all I could find were full spoilers

I know this is a dead thread. My car has the carbon stingray hood like posted above. Does anyone know if these hoods require a stock hood strut, or something else? My car has nothing to hold the hood.
