I'd have done a purple candy on all the dash trim and stuff but that's just me. How did you do the hvac bezel? Did you meticulously tape it off or what?

And Like I said Idk if its my phone or what the color looks way different in person than in photo, and radio face plate taken completely apart all buttons and chromish pieces have to be removed and heater controls are simple to take apart but tapingoff all the lighted places and cutting them out near perfect with a razor blade... couldn't get myself to do it again painting the dash and clear coating took roughly 10 hrs and a case of beer. And its Derek's old car no longer in Minnesota cause I love that place but it will be getting tracked for power cruise this year as well as my 78 Firebird 5.3L LM7 swapped sadly I know the Cobalt would kill my firebird

 

Yeah I plan on doing my interior trim a candy orange. Will probably leave the radio and hvac stock and tape off the middle where the airbags light is and leave it silver as well. What I.plan to do would make taping off the hvac controls impossible..

 

Is it hard to tape off the hvac? Lol

 

I think that would look pretty good too I just couldn't stand radio and hvac different colors but it should look good taping that off to make it blend

The hvac alone took the most time probably 3-4 hrs and I ended up using clear packing tape cause I couldn't see the lines to cut it out with masking tape the had to use a precision tweezers to get all the tape off and then clear coated over all of everything. I wax those pieces lol
