so my parents got me a white 2006 Cobalt Ls 4DR for my birthday. i have quite a bit of money that i had perviously put away for a car but have one know, so i was wondering how much it would cost to to put a SS Factory Body kit on my Ls, and what Lowering kit will last the longest as i live in Canada and deal with winters and salty roads. i was also wondering if there are Rims out there that look like the SS/TC 12 Spoke rims, but i need a 4 x100 pattern not a 5 lug pattern. And what are your opinions on Halo or projector headlights.

I just want to make my Cobalt stand out, any help would be awesome.

SS body kit is in high demand, best bet ive found is to try rockauto.com, ebay and craigslist. and for wheels if your looking to spend short money check out NLmotoring.com, they have a great line of XXR wheels that are perfect for an LS with 4x100.

For lowering springs, Im going to recommend Road Magnet's or SSC springs. They offer an nice drop, but not too excessive for Canada and they don't ride like crap. Im not sure where you can buy road magnets, try a google search or ebay, SSC's are available for $225 for so from zzperformance.com and the road magnets are like $40 more.

And for headlights, google search "Gen 4 Cobalt headlights" those are the only good ones that you can buy pre assembled. Other than that most guys do a retrofit kit, theres some forsale already made in the classifieds. Hope this helps.

Oh and that's my old 4dr LS above, on B&G springs (they ride like ****). And if you like that rear window lip search for it on ebay, I had it customer made and got it for free for advertising! Search 4dr cobalt rear window lip. If you cant find it ill dig the link up, I cant go on ebay at work.

Welcome! IMO if you're trying to stand out I'd just slam it, maybe air cylinders or bags, and with 4x100 you have tons of wheel options. Play with the wheel simulator on discount tire directs website!

I know that i can buy all the SS Body kit parts buy themselves like the bumpers and the side skirts but I'm really not familiar with the cobalts, know if we were talking about a chevelle, now thats a different story, and i don't really trust eBay all that much. and i know that you need more then just the bumper, but I'm not sure what else i would need,
and i know this is probobly gonna sound like a stupid question but whats the difference between lowering springs and coil overs. and as for the rims, i really like those SS/TC 12 Spoke rims and i heard that you could actually buy convert your 4 Bolt pattern to a 5 bold pattern. and another thing< is it possible to take the Side door moulding off my vehicle.
