Wondering if anyone has any idea if the Cobalt ss high rise spoiler will fit on a 2004 ion trunk lid? if the existing holes in the lid wouldnt line up, i would be able to trade lids with someone who has a spoilerless trunk, noticed on some pictures of the ss spoiler that the moulding on the spoilers comes right down flush with the lid itself..
Does anyone know if this has been done before, and would there be any modifications that would be needed to to complete the spoiler instalation?

not sure if it will actually work or not but from lookin at my buddies RL the holes are in the same place. weither or not they are the same width apart or not is a different story. we was gonna try to put my high rise on his RL to see if it would fit a while back but never got around to doin it yet. all in all i think it will but im not 100% sure that it will.

yeah, thanks for the info there, i have that gay midget spoiler on my car now, but i know of a guy who is selling a high rise cobalt spoiler and the facotry rl spoilers are so hard to find used, and they cost $750 new here in can. Nobody wants the little spoiler anyways haha so i might switch lids with someone i know for a spoilerless trunk to maybe have better luck with a swap.

that seller will actually split up stuff to sell it. try contactin them to see if they will just sell you the spoiler.

it says in the listing that they will not take the spoiler off.

yeah i just read that too, but what im most interested in is if anyone is 100% sure that the high rise ss spoiler will fit my 2004 saturn ion coupe trunk lid..

i have also seen this on ebay, but i bet it is just a small soiler, and the people who are selling it dont know the difference?

From what I remember hearing on here and RedlineForums, the cobalt aero wing will NOT fit on the Ion. Try asking around on RedlineForums(dot)com. you might have better luck there.
