Dome light replacement
yes its possible. sylvania lists what bulbs it has... dont mean to thread jack, but how do you get to the bulbs in the domelight. i was playing with it, but didnt wanna break anything but pulling
this is for balts with the sunroof, but when trying to remove the bulbs from the mirrors you need a pair of needle nosed pliers to pull the bulb out (pinch at the base of the bulb) as my fingers were too fat to get into the socket completely.
The interior is FAR brighter than the standard halogen bulbs that are in the lights. It's a must for looks and functionality!

Let me just start by saying that I have no idea what the bulb looks like for the cobalt. However, I replaced the bulb in my dome light on my old ION sedan with a orange led that I got from oznium.com
Found here: http://www.oznium.com/led-dome
This is how I got the dome light cover off: Stick my key on the side where the clip is at to push it in, comes right off.

the led comes with a bunch of different connectors and you just have to find the one that matches up with your dome light. The one I used isn't the same as the stock, but the way I used it, it worked.

mine does the same ****. i had to get a screw driver where they "clip on" and hold the top plastic piece down with the screwdriver and push up on the "clear" one with my hand. took a bit of practice but worked well
that's NCC-2000's dome light thread. It doesn't look that hard, but I didn't go that route for my lighting needs.
not trying to thread jack but does anyone know how to replace the whole dome light assembly.
i went to install an led dome light and had to bend the terminals so it would be tight and its all messed up kept blowing fuses because i bent the terminals trying to get the bulb not to wiggle. so i went back to the stock bulb and now the bulb wont stay in all the way sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. because the bulb is on top of the clips not actually sitting on the clips. so im just going to get a whole new assembly off ebay for 19 dollars
anyone know how to remove and reinstall the whole assembly?
