Emblems stolen....

Parked my car at my friends house last night... in the drive way. Came back outside round 12 or so... walked to my car... and was showing everyone what it looked like, this that and the other... and noticed that all my emblems had been stolen. ALL OF THEM!! The door emblems, the little GM things on the side panels, the COBALT SS supercharged deals on the back and the big Chevy emblem on the trunk. And worst of all... whoever did it, scratched the hell outta the read chevy symbol spot. Anyone know a good scratch remover... or something to smooth out the scratches? I tried liquid wax and hard wax, but didnt work to well.. Thanks

it couldve been one person, if they had fishing line. those emblems come off like nothing, its the black sticky stuff that takes a while to take off.

well if you have full coverage, which you should, file a claim and tell them you just want your emblems back if you do and if you just want the scratches gone let them know that and they should, but i would talk to the chevy body shop first. the ppl at mine are nice and do that kinda stuff for free for me. i reversed into a gate and had a whole bunch of scuffs on the back, told them and they buffed it out for free

Oh jesus here we go again with this SS badging on non-ss models. If you hold on for 5 minutes I'll go get you a bat so you can continue to beat that dead horse...I'm assuming the one you're currently using has got to be in rough shape by now .

It's more than possible the people took them and they're going to keep them to themselves. They probably just stole then for something to do because they're either exceptionally bored losers with nothing better to do or they were overly jealous someone had the vehicle they didn't and thought they'd rip them off to make themselves feel better. Regardless of why they did it sorry to hear about that and hopefully you get everything fixed up good as new. People who have no regard for other people's property need a good fist in the mouth to set them straight but that usually comes with unfortunate consequences .
