Front Bumper cover Light mod

Has anyone successfully modified their front base bumper cover to house fog or driving lights? If so is there any pics?

Unless you had some sort of molded trim piece I don't see anyway of doing this without it looking like a hack job.

My thought was to cut and insert on the bottom outside grills a piece of plastic pipe. Align it and glue or plastic weld it it somehow and blend it in to look good. Then I could install a projector style light.

There are ribs there though that would make it look right IMO. If it was smooth it would be one thing.

you could probably cut the grilles out and get the insert grilles from an LT that had foglights

Now there's an idea. I am not familiar with the base bumper options besides what I have. I forgot about those.
