Here is a pic of when i was painting it. this is my final coat of paint before i put clear coat over it.
here is a pic of it installed again, i have Rustoleum 1500 degree engine enamel clear coat on here. about 6 coats of it.

Wow those look amazing! Thanks guys. I will be buying the paint and clear next week whem i get paid haha. Post pics when done to see if its anything like yours haha.. I got wheel paint clear btw. Will that hold up or should i buy an enamel engine clear coat?

if your doing your valve cover i would do engine enamel clear coat. it will hold up to the temp better. My SC got well into a few hundred degrees and the paint held strong, (dont call it a heaton supercharger for nothin) lol. but yeah, i did rustoleum engine enamel clear. i cant remember if it was 1500 or 2000 or 2500 degree temp rated but it worked AMAZING. just my .02
